A huge thank you to everyone who supported our Turkey Trot Food Pantry Drive! Because of your generosity, we collected an incredible amount of food and essential items for families in need.
⭐️ We're excited to share that 11 homerooms brought in 80 or more items, earning a snack coupon for lunch for each student! 🥳
Your kindness and community spirit truly make a difference. We are grateful for a community that continues to show up and support one another!

Yesterday, our 2nd and 3rd graders had an exciting day exploring hands-on activities during their STEM/STEAM Adventures field trip! 🎉🤖🧪
They learned, created, discovered, and had so much fun along the way! 💡✨
Great job, RVS students!

Antonia Ragucci and Ellie Golden had 5 rebounds, Vanessa Galloway 3, and Arielle Murillo had one. Mila DaRocha and Ashlee Krasnomowitz both played awesome defense, battling hard for jump balls and rebounds. Sophia Bagli and Chloe Stoller also contributed to our win with great passing and strong defense. Congratulations, girls on our first win of the season!!

🌟 Silent Auction Winner Experience
Our 5th Grade Silent Auction winners in Ms. Ennis’s class enjoyed a hands-on science experiment led by special guest Mrs. Morgenroth! The students had a fantastic time exploring and learning together.
🎈 “Balloons Over Broadway” in Grade 2
Our second graders worked incredibly hard last week on a STEM project where they designed and created their very own parade balloons. They proudly showcased their amazing creations during their annual Balloons Over Broadway celebration!
📊 First Grade & Kindergarten Data Collaboration
Mr. Spender’s first-grade class has been diving into data collection, graphing, and analysis. This week, they teamed up with Ms. Kuhl’s kindergarten class to put these skills into practice! The first graders created their own survey questions, interviewed the kindergarteners, and graphed the results. They had a great time learning how to gather information, organize it, and interpret their findings.
RVS students continue to shine with creativity, collaboration, and curiosity! 💙📘

Boonton Township & Mountain Lakes families — join us for a fun K–4 Playdate on Saturday, December 6th! 🌞🎉 Please see attached flyer for details.

Join us for our next Parent Meeting on Wednesday, January 14th from 7–8 PM in the RVS Lower Gym.

Hello 5th -8th Grade Parents,
The Ski and Boarding Club is looking for at least 18 more students to sign up for
this year’s season. This is wonderful opportunity to be outside with friends on
Shawnee Mountain is open to all 5th , 6th , 7th , and 8th grade RVS students. Get off of
the screens and devices every Wednesday in January and the first Wednesday in
February to enjoy the crisp, fresh air with friends on the slopes, while supervised
by RVS chaperones.
The RVS portion of the costs have remained the same and have not increased
in 2 years. The Shawnee portion of costs depend upon your choice of add-ons. If
you own your own equipment, you just need a lift ticket and food vouchers. If you
purchase Food Vouchers for the 5 weeks, the cost is significantly discounted. In
discussion with Shawnee, RVS is now able to sign up after the December 1 st date
without incurring the late sign-up fee. It is best if you sign up as early as possible
so we have confirmation of enough students to make the club feasible this year.
Convenient bus transportation to and from Shawnee, back to the RVS
doorstep.
RVS prices still remaining the same as last year, with the discounted meal
plan opportunity at Shawnee, and now, no late sign-up fee after Dec. 1st.
Students supervised by RVS teachers who know the skiers and boarder,
allowing students to enjoy social time with peers while getting exercise and
fresh air in glory of nature.
It makes a great EXPERIENCE gift for the holidays where you child will make
wonderful memories.
That’s a WIN, WIN, WIN, WIN for everyone! If you have any questions,
please reach out to Cindy Snider, csnider@btrvs.org.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
