Now that we’re well into the school year and the second marking period has begun, this is a great time to join the Debate and Forensics Club! We meet Monday mornings at 7:15 AM.
Our club participates in a wide range of fun and engaging activities, including Would You Rather, persuasive challenges (like convincing a friend to “buy” an unsellable item), impromptu speaking, Minute to Win It games, monologues, and preparation for the County Debate Competition in the spring—just to name a few!
We’ll also be signing up soon for our first event of the year, the Public Speaking Symposium in January.
New members are welcome at any time!
Consider joining to build confidence and strengthen your public speaking skills. Come alone or bring a friend—we’d love to have you!
If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Snider as soon as possible.
We hope to see you at our next meeting on Monday!

Today, RVS showed incredible spirit and generosity! During Spirit Day, students and staff came together to celebrate school pride and support our community through our food drive. Thanks to everyone’s amazing contributions, we collected a ton of food that will help families in need.
A huge thank you to our students, families, and community members for your kindness and support. You truly make a difference!

Benitez, Lillian DiOrio, and Jonny Ponte each earned a ribbon as a top 20 runner in their respective grade levels. Jonny finished 2nd overall out of all 847 runners who ran in the county race. Both teams competed valiantly in the team races the following week. The girls tremendous performance earned fourth place out of eleven teams. The Falcons faced a school twice the size of RVS and held strong, keeping the score to just 2-1.
The entire team gave their all and showed tremendous effort this season. Be sure to congratulate our boys’ soccer team on an outstanding season! 👏

The Lady Falcons defeated Morris Plains yesterday to capture the Group 1 Championship!
Kaitlyn Seminerio made a great pass to Lucci Lentz, who scored the first goal for RVS. Morris Plains came back to tie it 1–1, and the game stayed intense from start to finish.
Goal shots were taken by Annie Bush, Grace Conklin, Ashlee Krasnomowitz, Allie Perez-Bossen, and Olivia Seminerio, with Vanessa Galloway showing incredible speed and control to keep the Falcons on the attack.
Our defense—Sofia Curran, Ava Dowling, Kendall Hulse, Izzy Rajchel, and Eva Cacciabeve—worked tirelessly to shut down every play. In goal, Kendall Moll made 12 saves in the first half, while Alana Sanfilippo added 3 in the second.
After two 30-minute halves and two 5-minute overtimes, the match went to penalty kicks.
Grace Conklin, Ashlee Krasnomowitz, and Kaitlyn Seminerio each scored.
Annie Bush made a huge save to keep it tied at 3–3.
Then Lucci Lentz fired her shot into the bottom left corner to secure the 4–3 victory!
(And shoutout to Allie Perez-Bossen, ready and steady as the next kicker if needed!)
👏 Congratulations, Lady Falcons, on bringing home the championship banner to RVS! 🥇⚽
🎭 The BTEF Presents: Matilda Jr.! 🌟
Get ready for a magical night of music, mischief, and Matilda! 💫

The boys will advance to the finals today at Mendham Township. Best of luck to the team! We are so proud of you for making it to the finals and for having a record of 14 and 0!
