Through creativity, collaboration, and determination, students designed dream classrooms and playgrounds, authored original children’s books, and even created their own board games. Each project reflects not only their imagination, but also their commitment to excellence—demonstrating thoughtful planning, attention to detail, and the perseverance to bring their visions to life. 📚🎲

Just a reminder that the Boonton Township School District will operate on a delayed opening schedule on Monday, March 16 due to a scheduled professional development session for all staff.
As all staff members will be participating in the training, morning extra help will not be available, and school doors will not open until 9:30 AM, as there will be no supervision prior to that time.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

The Morris County Unsung Heroes are students who have made a lasting impact through their unique and outstanding contributions to their schools and communities. Their efforts, often overlooked by traditional student recognition programs, are vital to making our schools and communities thrive, and it's these unique and outstanding contributions that we aim to honor and celebrate.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, February 25th, we will have a delayed opening.
The overnight and morning temperatures are expected to between 20 and 28°. We are expected to get a couple of inches from a clipper system passing through. Unfortunately, the timing will coincide with the morning commute and the opening of school. The combination of the time, temperature, and snow require a delayed opening for everyone’s safety. It’s best to allow the professionals to properly prepare the roads and grounds first.
I’d like to express my sincere gratitude for our custodial crew and the town’s municipal team for the incredible work they did yesterday, last night and this morning in clearing and preparing the roads and school grounds. An additional shout out to our bus drivers clearing and preparing the buses very early this morning. Thank you.

Reminder: The Boonton Township School District will have an Early Dismissal on Friday, February 13, 2026. The district will be closed on Monday, February 16, 2026 in observance of Presidents' Day, as well as Tuesday and Wednesday, February 17–18, 2026 for Winter Break.
Please join us tonight Wednesday, February 11th at 7:30pm for our in person Special Board of Education Meeting at the Rockaway Valley School Media Center/Library for a discussion of Rockaway Valley School's facilities and educational needs, including consideration of a potential referendum. Please note there will be no live stream of this meeting.
