The Falcons competed in their final quad meet of the season yesterday at Bernardsville. The team improved so much earning personal bests and top placements in their events.
Vanessa Galloway took first overall in the 100 meter. Sashi Patti and Victoria Givens took first in their race and Celia Schrager saw a second place finish. Celia also achieved her personal best long jump of 10 feet 10 inches and Shanti Starr also achieved her personal best jump of 9 feet 1 inch. Lillian DiOrio took second in the 800. Charlie Benitez finished second in the 400 and achieved her personal best time of 72.53.
For the boys, Anthony Federico achieved a personal best 100 meter time of 12.31 and shot put throw of 39.4 inches. The Falcons swept the shot put with Anthony Federico taking 1st, Wiley Luogemeno taking 2nd and Dominic Ruocco placing 3rd. Jonny Ponte ran an exciting 800 meter taking second place. Drew Schneidkraut placed 3rd in the 100 and 4th in the 200.

The Lady Falcons did it again! The girls softball team swept another win against Mendham Boro with a 4 game winning streak with the final score of 10-3! Mia Satran lead the team as pitcher and brought in 3 runs. Antonia Ragucci played a strong game offensively and as short stop. Isla Toto stole second and third bases consistently each time she got on base bringing home 2 runs and 1 RBI. Alana SanFilippo played tight at catcher and offensively dellivered 2 RBIs. Olivia McAndew came home twice as well. It was a great team effort! Keep up the fight.

Congratulations to the boys’ baseball team on their tie with Mendham Boro yesterday. Jake Ramm got the game started with a base hit and then stole 2nd, 3rd, and home. David Levy then had an RBI to push the Falcons up 2 to 0. Jake Ramm and Patrick Duchene are credited with RBI singles. Aaron Mills and Jake Ramm are credited with 2-run singles. David Levy and Jake Ramm each had 2 base hits, and James Olsen had one hit. Landon Costa and Patrick Duchene both stole home, and Aaron Mills stole home coming from 2nd base.
Defensively, James Olsen threw out two runners at 3rd base from home to third with Aaron making the tags. Oliver Hader pitched the first 3 innings, and Aaron Mills solidified the tie with three strikeouts with the batters looking.

This past weekend, 6 of our talented RVS 5th & 6th grade musicians had the incredible opportunity to perform alongside new friends from across Northern New Jersey at the NJSMA Honors Band! 🎶
Congratulations to Remy Dorner, Leila Byrnes, Shanti Starr, Zeke Hammel, Kaleb Schleider, and Nolan Bardach-Swern on this outstanding accomplishment. These students have spent weeks practicing and preparing for this special event, and their hard work truly paid off.
A special thank you to Mrs. Covart for helping the students prepare and for supporting them throughout the event. The beautiful music they created made us all incredibly proud!

RVS beat Briarcliff with a thrilling 9–8 victory after a full 7 innings!
A huge CONGRATULATIONS to the boys’ baseball team for beating Mountain Lakes after a full 7 innings with a score of 9-8.
Oliver Hader had an RBI single and David had two RBI singles. Base running made the difference with Jake Ramm stealing home twice (one time all the way from 2nd base), and Aaron Mills stole home twice. At the top of the 6th inning, Aaron’s steal of home is what put the Falcons on top. Aaron Mills then went on to pitch two innings after Jake Ramm’s stellar performance for five innings. Aaron saw 7 batters and struck out 5 of them. Way to go, boys!
