Service Squad is a group of 5th through 8th grade students dedicated to providing "service" to teachers and students at RVS. Our goal is to help make RVS a better place for all.
The Environmental Club and Service Squad participated in “Slam Dunk the Junk,” a program through the Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority. On Wednesday, May 10, 22 students from 5-8 grade cleaned up the RVS campus and Leonard Park. We collected 4 bags of garbage and 2 bags of recyclables. The students were surprised by the amount of trash that found its way to the perimeter of our school. We take pride in this opportunity to keep our community and local environment clean!
