All 5th through 8th Graders are invited to

join the Debate and Forensic Team

 We meet each  Monday at 7:15 & selected recess times,
with Mrs. Snider in room 3 (across from the Library).

It is not too late to join us.  NEW members are encouraged to come. Bring a friend to see what it is all about!

DEBATE

Each week the debate team practices the elements of debate in mini-debates. The elements of debate include researching resolutions, making case points, developing plans, and preparing rebuttals. A formal debate is held in the spring and the team has an opportunity to compete against local middle school teams.

FORENSICS

The Forensic Team participates in various forms of public speaking including Impromptu Speaking, Oral Interpretation, and Monologues and Duologues.

When you join Forensics and Debate you will learn confidence, analysis, public speaking, diction, memorization, acting, and quick thinking.  And it’s fun!
