Due to anticipated icy conditions, the Boonton Township School District will operate on a two-hour delayed opening on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.

Thank you to the 7th grade teachers for sharing this experience, and a special thanks to the BTEF for organizing this trip for the second year in a row!
Mr. Spender welcomed a few third graders from Mrs. LaRusso’s class into the classroom to help with a fun place value lesson. The students took on the role of “bankers,” helping exchange ones blocks for tens and tens blocks for a hundreds block. 🧮✨
It was a fantastic, hands-on way for everyone to practice place value skills—and a great example of learning together across grade levels!

Starting today, our yellow Little Bites recycling box is back in the lower gym! Through a free TerraCycle program sponsored by Little Bites, students can recycle empty Little Bites pouches only.
If your child enjoys Little Bites as a snack, they may save their empty pouches and recycle them during lunch. Please help us by reminding students that only empty Little Bites pouches can go in the yellow box.
Be sure to check out the photo of our Environmental Club members with the collection box and keep an eye out for the posters they created around the school to promote this program.
Thank you for helping RVS stay sustainable and supporting our Environmental Club! 💚♻️

Vanessa Galloway had 3 rebounds, Kendall Hulse and Ashlee Krasnomowitz each had 2 rebounds. Ellie Golden played great defense and had 1 rebound! Congratulations, girls on our highest scored game and 13th win of the season!!

Ms. Sidney’s 3rd grade class had a wonderful time participating in an MLK STEM activity today!
Students were challenged to create a statue honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. using a $20 budget (play money). They “purchased” supplies from a provided list, used their math skills to calculate costs, and made sure they stayed within budget.
The creativity and problem-solving on display were amazing, and each statue was truly one of a kind! We’re excited to share their hard work with our RVS community. 😊

The girls came out strong in the second half passing the ball well and patiently waiting for the open shot. Talia DiOrio played amazing defense, and scored 4 points for RVS. Kendall Hulse also played well defensively and scored 2 points for RVS. The awesome passing, shooting and defense of the team resulted in the girls beating Mendham Boro by a solid 14 points! Good job, girls!
The Lady Falcons secured their 10th win of the season beating Wharton yesterday by a score of 42-20. Ab Leung led the team with16 points followed by Lucci Lentz 7, Ann Bush 6, Grace Conklin 5, Kendall Hulse and Talia DiOrio 2, and Charlee Gianguercio 1.
Ashlee Krasnomowitz had 4 rebounds and Antonia Ragucci had 3. The great defense of Vanessa Galloway, and Sophia Bagli contributed to our win! Congratulations, girls on a great game!
