Track and Field: The Falcons competed in their 5th meet of the season yesterday. For the girls, Zoie took 1st in the shot put, 2nd in the 100 and 3rd in the long jump. Vanessa got her personal best in the 100. Lillian took 1st in the 1600. Sasha placed first in her heat of the 100. The relay team of Sasha, Vanessa Zoie and Shanti finished 3rd. For the boys, Johnny placed 2nd in the 1600. Austin placed first in the 100. Anthony took 2nd in the shot put, and Wiley, 3rd. Hudson finished first in the hurdles. The relay team of Anthony, Patrick, Ian and Austin finished 2nd in the contest. Congratulations, Falcons on a great meet.

Undefeated! The Falcons Softball team is now 3 and 0 with a 17-0 win over Mendham Boro.
Louisa Borden struck out 9 in 4 innings of work and had 2 RBIs at the plate. Lydia Ameres went 4 for 4 - with 4 runs scored. Lucy Monell scored 4 runs and had a strong performance behind the plate. Charlee Gianguercio had 3 RBIs and finished things off on the mound. Great whole team effort. Come watch the girls continue their undefeated season as they play their next home game on Wednesday. Track & Field: The Falcons competed at Bernardsville in our 4th meet of the season. Ian Johnson achieved his personal best 1600 time of 5:05 securing another 1st place finish and holds the fastest mile time for RVS. Anthony Federico finished first in the 400 for RVS and got third in the shot put. Wiley Luogemeno got his personal best shot put throw and took second place. Austin Schrager finished 3rd in the 100. For the girls, Kelsey Glass took first in the 100. Vanessa Galloway placed first in the 200, 2nd in the 100 and 3rd in the 400. Zoie Feit got 2nd in the 400, first in the shot. Lilliana DiOrio got first for RVS in the 1600 and Gia LeDonne placed second. Charlotte Sirvent took 2nd in the hurdles. Arielle Murillo was excited to achieve her personal best shot put throw. Lady Falcons win again! The Softball team had another big win against Mountain Lakes yesterday with a score of 17-2 after three innings. Louisa Borden led off the game with a homerun and 8 Ks on the mound. Charlee Gianguercio had 3 hits, 3 RBIs, and made her pitching debut in the fourth inning. Piper Hulse had a 2 RBI double in the 2nd and scored a total of 4 runs.Lucy Monell also had 2 RBI's and defended home plate as catcher. Mila DaRocha scored a run and had a great defensive play at second base. The girls combined for a total of 18 hits. It was a great team effort, with every girl getting in the lineup. The girls look to go 3 and 0 when they take on Mendham Boro on Monday. Go Falcons!
Baseball win: CONGRATULATIONS to the baseball team on winning their first game of the season 7 to 3 against Lincoln Park. Aaron Mills is credited with an RBI single that drove Charlie Jantzen home. Max Stoller had an RBI single that drove in Tommy SanFilippo. Gunnar Hulse had an RBI single that drove in Aaron Mills. Tommy SanFilippo had an RBI single that drove in Chris Coughlin. Gunnar Hulse had an RBI that drove in Charlie Jantzen. Colton Hulse had a 2RBI single that drove in Tommy SanFilippo and Aaron Mills. From the mound, Max Stoller pitched for five innings and is credited with 4 strikeouts. Aaron Mills finished up the game with one strikeout. Defensively, Aaron Mills was responsible for many plays, but what stood out was his amazing double play where he got the batter out and then the runner at first base. Tommy SanFilippo, Charlie Jantzen, and Oliver Hader are each credited with stolen bases. A strong team effort was made by all players!

Sixth graders Alana SanFilippo and Antonia Ragucci recorded their first RVS hits. The defense was on point with some big plays, especially Mia Satran at first base. Lilliana DiOrio took 1st in the 1600 and 800, with a personal best 800 time of 3:12. Kelsey Glass finished 1st in the 100 for the third time in a row. Vanessa Galloway had a 3rd place finish in the 400. For the boys, Ian Johnson took 1st and Johnny Ponte 2nd in the 1600. Austin Schrager placed 1st and Wiley Luogemeno 2nd in the discus. In the shot put, Anthony Federico finished 2nd and Hudson Luogemeno 1st. Congratulations Falcons on another great meet!

Zoie Feit placed 2nd in the discus. Shanti Starr ran a strong 400 meter for RVS. Vanessa Galloway finished first for RVS in the 400.

Zoie Feit took first in the 400, and got her personal best jump of 13 feet 6 inches. Vanessa Galloway took 2nd in the 100 and 200 meter. Sasha Patti finished 2nd in the 200 meter in her heat. Lillian DiOrio was top finisher for RVS in the 1600. In the shot put, Arielle Murillo secured second place.
For the boys, Ian Johnson had a strong first place finish in the 1600 tying his personal best time of 5:17. Hudson Luogemeno placed second in the hurdles with a 19.5 second time.

To honor Dr. King and his legacy, Mrs. Baldini's class made Breakfast Bags for 2 local feeding programs: nourish.NJ and Denvile Voices for Racial Justice. Bravo 4th Grade!
Mrs. Laing's class read a book about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and talked about how he made positive changes in a peaceful way. They brainstormed ways that they could make positive changes at home or school. Each student wrote their ideas down and then made a picture of Dr. King.
