Each month, parents visit Mrs. Laing's kindergarten class to lead a seasonal project. This month, Mr. and Mrs. LaRocca came in to guide the students through some "spooky science potions." The kids mixed baking soda, food coloring, vinegar, and egg whites, watching the mixtures bubble and ooze out of tiny cauldrons. Everyone had a blast pretending to be mad scientists—even Mrs. Morgenroth joined in on the fun!

CONGRATULATIONS to the boys' soccer team for defeating Mendham Boro 3-0 during the quarter-final game. They will take on Morris Plains next Tuesday the 28th at home in the semi-final game. Come and support this undefeated team!

The Boys' Soccer Team will take on Mendham Boro today in the quarter-final round at RVA Fields at 4:00 PM — let’s show them our support! 💪

A huge shoutout to Mrs. Ruocco, Mrs. Frederico, and Mr. Czerniawski for making sure the boys had their home field advantage today. When one of the nets was declared unplayable, they jumped into action — sneakers, zip ties, and a step stool in hand — to get it game-ready this morning. 🦅

The Lady Falcons beat Lincoln Park in the first round of the county tournament by a score of 6-0. Kaitlyn Seminerio scored 3 goals in the game. Lucci Lentz, Ashlee Krasnomowitz and Annie Bush each scored one.

Defenders Sofia Curran, Sienna Curran, Kendall Hulse, Eva Cacciabeve, Ava Dowling, Annie Bush, Lucci Lentz, Kaitlyn Seminerio worked tirelessly to allow their team one shot on goal saved by Kendall Moll.

Midfielders Grace Conklin, Vanessa Galloway, Olivia McAndrew, Izzy Rajchel, Ellie Golden,Leila Byrnes and Olivia Seminerio marked up, and made great passes to contribute to our win!!

Using her great footwork, striker Allie Perez-Bossen made a great fast break to their goal attempting to score. As striker, Alana Sanfilippo worked hard on the frontline to score for RVS.

Congratulations girls on a great win!! The Falcons will play Pope John in the semifinals which will take place this Friday, October 24, 2025 at RVA fields at 4 pm! Please come out and support our team!!

CONGRATULATIONS to the boys’ soccer team on their big win against Wharton yesterday with a score of 4 to 3. The game was exciting and competitive, and the team adjusted and worked together to come back and win after being down 2 to 0. Evan Lukin scored the first goal followed by a goal from Dylan Lyttle to tie it up. Evan Lukin scored a second goal followed up by a goal from Dylan Lyttle. Every single player on the field played a pivotal role in the team’s win. The team’s current record stands at 11 and 0 with one final regular season game this Friday. We are so proud of you!

CONGRATULATIONS to the boys’ soccer team on increasing their undefeated record to 10 and 0 after defeating Harding by a score of 7-1. Jack Wright, Brady Golden, and Julian Sportelli all had their first goals of the season! Jeffrey Batista, Evan Lukin, Ryder Zaleski, and Aaron Mills also added goals to the total. Good luck today against Wharton!

A big THANK YOU to the Boonton Township Fire Department for visiting Rockaway Valley School this week! Our students had a great time learning about fire safety, meeting our local heroes, and even getting an up-close look at the fire truck! 🚨👨‍🚒👩‍🚒

Your dedication to keeping our community safe and educating our kids is truly appreciated.

The Boonton Township Education's big Back to the 80's Fundraiser is this evening and if you couldn't attend, there are still ways to give back and help raise funds for grants and programming for the 2025-2026 school year!

Our RVS Spirit Day food drive was a huge success! Together, we collected 216 pounds of food for our local pantry. Thank you to everyone who contributed!

The Lady Falcons won their 8th game of the season 7-0 against Lincoln Park. Kaitlyn Seminerio scored 2 goals assisted by Annie Bush, and Allie Perez-Bossen. Sofia Curran assisted Ashlee Krasnomowitz followed by Grace Conklin who scored the third goal for RVS.

In the second half, Vanessa Galloway passed the ball to Ellie Golden who scored her first goal of the season. Sofia Curran made a great pass to Allie Perez-Bossen allowing her to score. Kaitlyn Seminerio assisted Sofia Curran in scoring her first goal of the season.

The boys’ soccer team continued their undefeated streak by beating Lincoln Park 6-1 yesterday. Dylan Lyttle started the game off with an amazing goal from right wing. Patrick Duchene scored a goal, Landon Costa scored two goals, and Logan Esmail scored his first two goals of the season! Next week is the last week of the regular season. Best wishes for a strong finish!
