Social Studies Teacher, Leave Replacement

Rockaway Valley School is in need of a leave replacement Social Studies teacher for grades 7 and 8.  The duration of this assignment is approximately 5-6 weeks.  We need a teacher with Social Studies certification (or the Middle School equivalent).

Part-Time Technology Assistant

Assist the Technology Manager with tasks pertaining to optimizing student learning.  

• Collect, maintainand distribute devices to classrooms

• Inventory and assign new devices

• Update and maintain the Technology Recycling List

• Assist with 1 to 1 Chrome Book summer maintenance

• Maintain Chrome Book, MacBook and iPad carts

• Be flexible, work independently, follow directions accurately

• Support the Technology Manager in daily operations

Part-time position:  20 hours per week.

Boonton Township is a small PreK - 8th grade district in Morris County.

Reading Specialist, Short-Term Replacement

Rockaway Valley School, Boonton Township, seeks a replacement reading specialist for approximately 5 weeks beginning September 2, 2025.  Must hold reading specialist certification and be willing to undergo criminal history background check.

Full time position w/benefits.

Daily runs + sports/field trips. Must possess valid CDL license w/ P & S endorsement. Experienced school bus drivers only. Up-to-date medical & criminal background check.
