Preschool Open House

Please join us for a presentation to learn about the program and meet the teachers. Children are welcome to attend.
The program serves 3- and 4-year-old children. Special needs and typically developing preschoolers come together in an inclusive classroom where language, academic, and social skills are developed in a nurturing environment.
Beginning in the 2024-25 school year, days of attendance will be for 5-days only. (The school day is from 8:30am to 1:30pm). To qualify, a child must be 3 or 4 years old on or before October 1, 2024, but not 5 years old. A birth certificate with a raised seal must be presented when the application is submitted. Applications for the program are available at the Rockaway Valley Elementary School; 11 Valley Road in the main office and on our website.

This unique program is comprised of typically developing students as well as preschool children with special needs. A general preschool curriculum is followed for all students. The program follows the District's school calendar with all sessions Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 1:30pm.
