Algebra 1:
Welcome to algebra 1! We will be jumping right into several high-school level algebra concepts this fall. We will be starting the year with reviewing multi-step algebraic equations. We will then begin an in-depth exploration of linear equations.Staying organized and current with all assignments will be critical to success. I am looking forward to a fantastic year.
Geometry:
Welcome to geometry! This is an accelerated course since we only meet five times a week so coming prepared each day will be critical to success. We will begin by reviewing points, lines, and planes. This exploration will include calculating perimeter and area using the midpoint and distance formulas. We will then turn our attention to structuring proofs and examining transformations. Geometry students do not have an additional summer assignment. I am looking forward to a fantastic year.
