We have been super busy in February!
100 Day
Last Thursday was 100 days of school! We wrote about what it would be like when we are 100 years old. The kids are so excited for you to see our writing out in the hall when you come to visit for conferences next month. We also participated in fun 100 day centers. I can't believe we are 100 days smarter!
Chinese New Year
Last Friday Leilani shared facts and traditions about Chinese New Year. She did a fantastic job speaking in front of the class. Bravo! She gave each classmate a red envelope with a bracelet inside. We practiced "how to" writing by making Chinese dumplings with play doh. It was super fun!
Valentine's Day
Today we enjoyed making Valentine owl bags and passing out cards to our friends. A BIG thank you to our class moms for sending in treats and some V-day activities. We looked adorable in our hats! Check out the class photo attached below.
There will be no homework tonight. Enjoy spending extra time with your family.
