Birthday Celebrations: I will contact you prior to your child's birthday so we can discuss a time/date for you to read a story to the class. Students with summer birthdays can celebrate at the end of the school year. If you like you may send home goody bags for your child's birthday. All food must be approved by the nurse 24 hours prior (no candy).

Star Student

I will contact you prior to your child being Star Student. Below is how it works:

Monday - Your child will talk about the "Packed With Stuff About Me" poster they made at the beginning of the year (I have it - nothing for your child to bring in).

Tuesday - Please bring in your favorite book. I will read it to the class.

Wednesday - Please bring in an item for show and tell. It can be anything special to you that you would like to show the class (it has to fit in your backpack, nothing breakable or valuable).

ThursdayParents please write a letter about your child. You can write about anything (a funny story, interesting facts no one knows, or how you are proud of them...). Please send the letter in a sealed envelope. I will share the letter with the class.
