October, 2021
The end of October finds our class working hard! We are discovering the connection between addiiton and subtraction in math and this has proven to be very interesting! We have created models, worked with manipulatives to demonstrate the connection and created art, based on solutions to problems. We are working hard in readimng and spelling and making progress every day! As we find ourselves at the end of the first marking period, we are ready to jump into the second marking period with our positive attitudes and excellent work ethic! I am delighted to be working with your child this year! We are in room 26, and 3rd grade students will follow Mrs. Sidney's class for specials. We will be working hard in our classroom, with a side order of fun! Transition can be difficult, but we are prepared to help your child meet the challenges of a new grade!
