When do we meet?
The Environmental Club meets every 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at 7:15 AM in room 29. We meet the opposite weeks that Student Council meets, so you can do both! You can check out the RVS school calendar to see the dates. You will also be sent email to your RVS account with schedule updates and reminders!
What do we do?
In the Environmental Club, we help our school recycle in the cafeteria, design posters to put up around the school, and participate in collection programs to recycle other plastics! We also get to visit the kindergarten fledglings to teach them how to plant and learn how to be green! We also work closely with the RVS service squad. Together, we participate in Slam Dunk the Junk to clean up RVS playgrounds and run a sustainable clothing drive. Finally, we celebrate Earth Day with a nature walk and picnic brunch!
